Could you tell us about your company’s history and its involvement in the market?
Financial Auditing Consulting Services (FINACS) was founded on July 17, 2006 by ANAS ABOU EL MIKIAS, A Chartered Accountant and member of the Order of Chartered Accountants. Since its creation, the firm has developed alongside companies with the aim of providing them with a broad and relevant vision to support them in their strategic and operational decision-making. The firm is committed to providing high-quality services, specializing in several key areas to meet the growing needs of local and international businesses.
Moreover, at the international level, for example, our company has been mandated to conduct audits of projects funded by the European Union and the UNDP. These missions show how our company helps to ensure the efficient use of international funds.
By establishing partnerships with financial institutions, well-known companies, and proactive partners for consulting services and operation of global processes like ACCACE, FINACS strengthens the credibility and reliability of local companies on the international scene.
Our company has made a significant impact on the local and international market through its high-quality services and commitment to excellence. Indeed, by ensuring the transparency and compliance of companies’ financial statements, our company helps to strengthen the confidence of local and international investors and stakeholders. In addition, through audit and consulting services, FINACS helps companies improve their management practices and optimize their financial performance. Similarly, by providing legal and tax advice, FINACS ensures that companies comply with local and international regulations, reducing the risk of sanctions and litigation.
What do you think is the key to the success of your business?
- Responsiveness: Emergency management, in interaction with the customer, is the source of FINACS’ success. Whatever your needs, we work to provide the relevant response within optimized deadlines.
- Quality: The quality of the FINACS team is its greatest asset. FINACS guarantees you the best skills to respond to your problems.
- Proximity: Every business is different. This is why we believe that our missions must be highly personalized and cannot be the result of pre-established or pre-planned procedures.
Do you have customers from different countries in EMEA? What do you think are the biggest cultural differences in supporting them, and what are the pros and cons of working in an international environment?
FINACS has customers from various countries in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Collaborating with clients from different countries has notable cultural differences as well as distinct advantages in an international environment. Cultural differences significantly influence how support is offered and received.
Our interactions with clients in different countries highlight different communication styles. In Western Europe, for example, exchanges are often direct and formal. Customers in this region appreciate quick and accurate responses, which requires great responsiveness and rigorous professionalism from FINACS. In the Middle East, communication tends to be more indirect and polite. It is crucial to establish a relationship of trust before addressing the technical or financial aspects. Greetings and courteous exchanges play a vital role in this process.
In Africa, communication styles can vary from a country to a country. It is essential to show respect for local cultural contexts.
Working hours and availability are another challenge. In the Middle East, weekends can be on Thursdays and Fridays, which requires an adaptation of FINACS’ service hours.
Working in an international environment promotes the development of cultural competences. FINACS employees develop cultural sensitivity and intercultural communication skills, which are essential in a globalized world.
However, working in an international environment also presents challenges. Language barriers can lead to misunderstandings and miscommunication. Sometimes it is necessary to learn new languages to ensure effective communication.
Coordinating meetings and projects across different time zones can also be complex. This often requires flexible working hours or compromises to ensure that all parties involved can actively participate.
What are the biggest challenges your customers face for you?
The biggest challenges our clients bring to us typically revolve around complex regulatory compliance, data security concerns, and the need for customized solutions that align with their specific business goals. Our ability to provide tailor-made and scalable solutions that effectively address these challenges sets us apart in the market.
What trends do you see prevailing in the BPO industry and which do you find the most promising?
In the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) sector, we are seeing a growing trend towards digital transformation, automation and data analytics. These trends are reshaping the way companies approach outsourcing, providing opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and provide more personalized services. The integration of AI and machine learning technologies, which are revolutionizing process automation and decision-making capabilities, is particularly promising.
What achievements is FINACS most proud of?
We are most proud of our strong reputation for reliability and integrity, and our team’s ability to constantly adapt to changes in the industry. The long-standing partnerships we have forged and the positive impact we have had on our clients’ businesses are a testament to the moments we are most proud of.
What are your visions for the future and how do you think being part of our business community will help you achieve your goals?
FINACS’ future vision is to expand its market presence, continuously innovate and stay at the forefront of technological advancements in the financial services industry. Being part of ACCACE business community will provide us with valuable networking opportunities, access to new perspectives and trends, and collaborative partnerships that will support our growth goals.
