At the heart of any thriving community lies a set of shared values that shape every interaction and decision. In the fast-paced, ever-evolving world of international business, these values become the compass that guides us through both opportunities and challenges. Among them, commitment stands out – not as a momentary promise, but as a daily practice that binds individuals together and transforms intention into action.
Within Accace Circle, commitment is woven into the very fabric of how we work and connect across borders. It is the quiet determination behind every success story, the resilience that turns obstacles into milestones and the reason our partnerships grow stronger with time.
In this interview, we discuss with Petr Mandát, Key Account Manager at Accace Circle, what commitment means to him, given his long history in the company and how he sees it in the everyday life of our business community.
What does commitment mean to you as someone who’s been with the company for years?
Brilliant question. To me, commitment is just as essential as motivation, if not more. I see it as the true engine of success. Motivation is a dream, a vision, like imagining yourself crossing the finish line of a marathon. But commitment is everything that gets you there. Preparation, trainings, adding kilometres to your plan by 5 then by 10 and so on; running on Friday nights while others are already at the bar and then pushing through the marathon itself. Commitment is the sequence of steps, discipline and endurance. It measures success. Of course, luck, timing and other external factors play a role, but if someone truly wants something and gives it structure, consistency and sticks with it, then they can achieve anything. It’s true that it is not so easy to stay committed all the time, but that’s another story.
How do you build strong, lasting relationships with clients?
It depends. But in general, I focus on understanding clients’ needs and providing relevant solutions. Regular communication and transparency are essential. What makes relationships strong and lasting is the human approach and just like in life, building meaningful relationships takes time. And it is impossible without commitment. Even the best intentions without commitment fall short.

Petr Mandát
Key Account Manager at Accace Circle
Can you think of a moment when your commitment helped turn a situation around?
There were some, but I have one exceptional which demonstrated our commitment as team. It was a big, global client and a multi–country project. We were 3+ months in complex implementation, all tired, heading to go live when our operations and tech teams found bug in clients data transmit at client’s end. It affected whole integration solution we developed. The fix plus retesting required 8 man-days and we had only weekend and Monday by noon till GO/NO GO decision. You can imagine the situation. None of the team members said that they had better plan for the weekend. Same at client’s end. We all were committed to succeed. Eventually, we made it on time, the project went live. The client appreciated our dedication and our commitment of simply not letting them down.
Why do you think long-term commitment between members is such a strength of the Accace Circle model?
Having committed partners around you gives you assurance that you have strong like–minded people for any potential challenge which may come. When all goes smooth, it is easy to manage almost anything. But when a challenge comes, only then you realize the true meaning of commitment and the value of committed partners.
What makes Accace Circle a place where people want to stay committed – both to each other and to the clients?
It’s an easy question: Accace Circle is unique. I have never been in or seen similar ecosystem. The mindset we have, the values we honour, co-creating something meaningful, supporting each other and believing in what we do. Those who see the value in Accace Circle naturally then give their best to each other and to client.
A final word
Commitment isn’t shown in just one action or conversation. It is built by showing up again and again, even when things are difficult. Real commitment means not giving up, working hard together and always being ready to help each other.
In Accace Circle, we’ve seen that when commitment is shared, problems and challenges do not separate us. They bring us closer. We work together, help each other and achieve more as a group. This strong commitment to our partners and clients helps us turn obstacles into chances to grow and reach our long-term goals.
